(Coming to the end of quests to do and at level 44 it's getting harder to level up.)
Some quests here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Free_Skill_Boosts
I find smithing easiest to level and alchemy in second. Just leveling thru crafting levels up my char a lot. For smithing I make Dwemer Bows or build Hearthfire (expansion) homes (not allowing the steward to do any building). Legendary and do it again.
Bard's college in Solitude gives every skill a +1.
If it is getting harder to level up, do what I did. I was level 46, used mainly destruction. I did legendary on it, got all my perk points back, brought destruction from 91 back down to 15. I went out and killed a bunch of bandits, and for the next 10 fireball shots, gained a level with each one. After playing for another 6 hours, I was back up to 50/56 in no time.
Inother words, take you main item you use, 1-handed, 2-handed, destruction, archery, etc and do a legendary on it.
My favorite archery training place is: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Angi%27s_Camp. This is a nice change of pace in regards of skill trainers, and something I would like to see more of.
Block trainers keep hitting your shield, throw stuff at you and you block it.
Speech trainers are giving you speech checks.
Blacksmiths are giving random orders to increase your points(like the smithing tutorial, but expanded)
Nothing much to add, really. Jemcrystaline cheated by pointing to an UESP page(with all skill boosts) :c
