Also... This. This kind of folly is why Microsoft and Sony do not want the command line console available on their versions of the game. The command line console is not a toy, and you can break your game if you misuse it.

That plus I doubt the xbox 360 and ps3 could handle that many characters on screen at once.

Especially the ps3 considering how buggy the game was for that system.

This NPC placement command I don't think was available in the console in Oblivion. If I remember, it was first implemented in Fallout 3. I spawned a bunch of Ghouls inside Vault 101 and watch Butch and my father fight. Then I started spawning a bunch of Butches vs Robots

PC is a world with limitless power. That's why I don't play a lot of MMOs anymore considering I can control my game this way. I do wish this was more open source to console too. Would be more people enjoying it

Actually the console commands has a purpose, fixing stuff Bethesda hasn't. Like making commanders non essential after a questline is completed(civil war; stormcloaks/imperial outposts) or possible spawning in items that you can enchant yourself: leather hood for example.

This is very much true and one of the reasons why I prefer the PC version of a lot of games besides the modding aspect of it
