Fallout Possible Return of The Enclave

Post » Thu Dec 05, 2013 6:17 pm

So over the past 3 weeks Ive done a lot of research for the Enclave and Ive put a lot of things together that makes sense of why the Enclave could return. This will involve info from Fallout 3 and New vegas. Also some information from Fallout 2. So we all know that the Enclave have been taking hard hits form other factions in the fallout universe BUT! according to the eye bot in Fallout: NV ED-E the Enclave have an outpost in Chicago. That information is from Whitley a researcher at Adams Air force base.

He states that the enclave eye bot needs repairs so get this eye bot to Navarro which has been destroyed. Although the recording may be old Whitley also states the Enclave have and outpost in Chicago. Now heres my point: President Eden states on Enclave radio in F3 that the Enclave are trying to take over the east of the U.S.A. The city of Chicago is in the east of the U.S. So this clearly means that the Enclave have some sort of outpost and maybe even have a civilization in Chicago. So now you know what

Im saying. The Enclave are still out there everyone. There is no reason to think they are dead.

If you are to use this Information I have gathered please give me some credit by my account name and this forum. Ive worked for hours on researching this information so thank you for reading all of this.

You should have worked harder.

No one in the Enclave talks about taking over the East Coast. Eden's radio station is all propaganda and lies and he never intended to rebuild America.

All but wiped out. They were just remnants to start with in Fallout 3.

The Enclave only existed on the Oil Rig until Fallout 2. Sometime before Fallout 2 the Enclave discovered that the mainland United States was overrun by mutants, such as Super Mutants that were attacking the Vaults the Enclave were monitoring. Also the ghouls and that the "people" had also mutated. This mutation, the Enclave speculated that it could even be an improvement on the human species which made the people a threat that they could someday replace "normal humans" aka the Enclave.

So they came up with an idea to create a super weapon. The Curling Virus. So they left the Rig and set up Navarro, which was undermanned at the time of Fallout 2. From Navarro they travelled to Mariposa and got FEV and New Reno in which they got chemicals. They also went to Vault 13 and Arroyo to gather test subjects.

So they created the virus and were ready to put it into the Jet Stream in which it would kill all humanoid life on the planet. Including the Enclave themselves. So they created a vaccine. It was to be given to the people on the Rig and Navarro. But the Chosen One stopped them.

The Rig was destroyed, killed the whole of the Enclave leadership and most of the Enclave. The only Enclave left were those at Navarro and any in the field. The Enclave saw the mainland as contaminated and it would remain so for a very long time. They were happy to stay on the Rig forever if need be. They only left to stop a threat.

So the Enclave in Fallout 3 came from Navarro. Navarro itself later fell to the NCR. Any Enclave that remained were killed or they tried to start new life somewhere else. They had nowhere else to go.

The Enclave on their way to DC would have set up the Outpost in Chicago as a rely station as confirmed in New Vegas with Ed-E.

There is no way to end Fallout 3 with the Enclave winning. Broken Steel makes it so they die no matter what and no matter what the Enclave that survived would be hunted by the Brotherhood there.

Also the thing about Chicago and the Enclave is old news. It's been common knowledge for a very long time. You aren't the first person to point that out.

Yes I know its old but its important. But apparently the enclave have a large base in Chicago they can rebuild from there and the east coast. And yes eden does state the Enclave is working on taking over the east its on Enclave radio. Im not interested in an argument Im only telling the truth.

They don't have a large base in Chicago. By definition an Outpost is:

"a small military camp or position at some distance from the main army, used especially as a guard against surprise attack."

A SMALL millitary CAMP or POSISTION.. Not Super maga base.

That outpost would have been set up by the Enclave after Fallout 2 by which point they were a divided group of remnants that left Navarro which was understaffed when the Rig was destroyed on their way to Raven Rock. So they were a small force at Navarro, divided again to an even smaller force which would have had to divide yet again to leave people behind at Chicago if in deed they did leave anyone there, so your dream of an Enclave that can comeback to take over the East Coast of America is just that, a dream.

Do you really want the Enclave to become the Team Rocket of the Fallout Universe? We don't need them back yet again just because they have cool toys. Let them stay dead. Remnants I am ok with but nothing on the scale of taking over the East Coast of the United States

Eden says alot of things on his radio program, it doesn't make it true. It's called Propaganda. Just ask Nathan about the Enclave after he finds out what they are all about. There are no Enclave all over the East Coast of America. Fallout 2, Fallout 3 and New Vegas confirm it.

Also this is a forum. A place for debate "arguing" and I have been here pretty much every day since I joined. I talk with people who run Fallout forums, websites, wiki pages and so on and who go through every Fallout game with a fine toothed comb and no one take Enclave Radio as pure fact.

If you are going to make statements, especially about the Enclave.. you are going to have to argue your points. It's just the nature of a forum.

Im not saying they need to return as a huge army but as a small force like a faction. At least even with NCR and other factions. The enclave own some territory in the east. That means that they could rebuild into something like a faction. And theres probably remnants in other locations to so thats probably not all of them. The enclave don't need a title of a bad force. The members of the enclave had a purpose to save america. In F3 the enclave were known as bad. But each soldier had a different purpose. They were trying to civilize things while some of the leaders were ruthless. The enclave shouldn't die now but come back as a faction. In the mojave wasteland the B.O.S had a small bunker where they had a small force. Thats what could happen with the Enclave in other wastelands. Id like to see them return as a joinable faction. That would be nice.

The NCR is a huge faction so say to be "even" with a force like the NCR is to say you want them to be a huge force. To be able to take over the East Coast.

There are no Enclave anywhere else is what I am trying to drive home to you. Chicago, they have/had an outpost there. That doesn't mean they own "territory" in the sense of other factions like the NCR or the Legion. They were a small force that was all but destroyed in Fallout 2. That is confirmed by Fallout 3 and New Vegas. They were all but destroyed not once but twice in Fallout 3. Seriously how many could there be for them to "rebuild" to the size of the NCR or to be powerful enough to take over the East Coast of America.

The Enclave in Fallout 3 weren't trying to civilize anyone. The only people in the Enclave in Fallout 3 you can have a conversation with is Eden and Augustus. Not until Broken Steel can you talk with anyone else on any real level. Augustus wanted to use the people of the Wasteland, while Eden saw no other option but to do what Richardson wanted to do and that was to kill everyone not Enclave and that lead to Eden killing alot of the humans in Raven Rock.

The Enclave in Fallout 2 and Fallout 3 NEVER WANTED TO SAVE AMERICA. Eden was just talking bullcrap. The Enclave's real goals weren't given to us, but saving America was not it.

Now I agree that remnants are ok. A small force, and IMO that would be a couple dozen people at most and I wouldn't want them to be "trying to take over the World!" yet again.

Okay not even with the NCR but a small faction. The remnants tell a lot about how some of the Enclave fled and became remnants. The remnants also talk about how they were just trying to civilize things while some of the leaders were ruthless. I think that the enclave have a chance of coming together in the ruins of Chicago and make ready for a future as a small faction. That is all I ask really.

The remnants don't talk about trying to civilize things. One of them I can't remember which didn't really agree with that the Enclave was doing and did everything in his power to serve with out actually serving, but no the Enclave in Fallout 2 only wanted to kill everyone not Enclave. Everyone not on the Rig and Navarro.

I will agree that any Enclave that survived in DC, some might try and make their way back to Chicago. Others might try to just call it quites and just go do their own thing, live like normal people.

Chicago is also home to the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel and I have suggested before that some Enclave might try to ally with the MWBoS if the MWBoS is run by General Barnaky. In time some might even gain some power with the MWBoS.

Judah Kreger I think his name is talks about that he wanted to civilize. And that would make a great setting for a fallout game in Chicago. I think that what is left of the enclave will probably ally with the MWBoS. That would do them both good. Id say we have both agreed to most of this so thanks for helping me understand this a bit better. But we cant be to sure about all of this but I agree that some of the remnants may have fled to the Enclave outpost in Chicago. Well thanks for your help.

Yes Chicago would be a great place for a Fallout for many reasons including (if you are an Enclave fan) that there could be Enclave remnants there as well as tech along the lines of what we see in New Vegas, maybe somewhat bigger as in more people with some level of organization and hopefully they will be reasonable people with new ideas and goals instead of just trying to kill everyone not them.

Also welcome to the Forum :fallout:
