I went to Angi's for some archery training. Saved my game before first approaching her and then did the first round for three training points which sent my archery skill from 43 to 46. She then said "Let me know if you want more training" and walked back to her cabin.

I followed her, saved my game again in a new slot, and then went for the second round of training where you have to hit the three targets in eight seconds. Tried it a few times and I ran out of practice arrows. Tried to talk to Angi to get more but just got the message 'This character is busy'. I then jumped out of the area you're supposed to stay in and retrieved the practice arrows I already fired.

Tried doing it again but couldn't pull it off so I decided to skip it. I reloaded my save game where I had done the first round but not yet started the second (in case I decided to come back and try it again) and headed off to Whiterun.

While in Whiterun I noticed my archery skill had dropped to 15 and the number was red. Looking under active effects showed nothing.

Reloading the game before I first talked to Angi shows the skill at the original 43. Reloading the game before starting the second round of training shows it at 15 and in red. I ended up reloading the first save and skipping Angi's training altogether.

PS3 (not connected to internet, maybe they fixed this in a patch)... just thought this might help someone.

I don't understand exactly.

Why you don't reload the first time you talked to Angi with your skill point at 43, but this time with more arrows and to the practice again !!!!!

Possible bugs:

1.) Using any type of arrow other than practice arrows during the challenges will cancel the tests and may prevent Angi from offering further training.

2.) If a dragon attacks while Angi is walking to the training area for practice, she will not resume walking there after the dragon is killed, and the dialogue option to train with her will be removed

3.) After completing the timed target she will offer more practice. The next practice is the long target which sometimes glitches if she says "Hey, watch it!".

Tip:

In the last challenge, Angi asks the Dragonborn to shoot the targets in 10 seconds. This can be done very easily, after accepting the last challenge,

shoot every target except the last one. Then, after she says "Go..." shoot the last one.
