Which one should I play as?

Post » Thu Dec 05, 2013 11:13 pm

Regarding the ''playing as female'' thing. Perfectly fine, majority of my characters are female too because my backstories are usually more fitting for a female character. If I do play a male then the background tends to be less dramatic and more ambitious. So I thought it was rather rude for that guy to pick on you just for this.

And yes, I'm with Red to. I'm a big Nord lover but I feel that a redguard would freshen it up a little bit.

That's pretty much me as all of my characters have a bit of myself in them to help me get more in character but I can't relate to women on that level so I don't get the same feeling when playing a woman as I do playing a version of myself in Skyrim. I would be able to play a beast race though if they were more "beastly" looking but all the Khajiit look like tame house cats and all the Argonians look like they need to be put in a big dry fish tank with a warm lamp above

Oh and dat Red :hubbahubba:

It really all depends. For example, I can only go as a female character if I'm playing a sneaky one. For no other reason than the likes of the DB and NG armour looks hidious on a male toon imo. The only race i opt for if I do choose to play that character is Bosmer. Add to that, the Bosmer male face options aren't the best. Mage/fighter has to be a male for me to connect with 'em.

I'm not going to make a big post of what she's been up to.

She's been distracting the imperial soldiers by wearing Nocturnal's robes while the Stormcloaks get closer and attack the fort in Falkreath. She then got out Wuuthrad and made some amazing art with imperial blood.

They are both beautiful ladies but Red is a good choice. Thoughts on what she could do after the civil war: Heart of Dibella and In My Time of Need. I thought it was interesting when my Redguard female did that quest. As for playing as a female, do what you want. I don't see anything wrong with it ... I play as a male on occasion. Maybe it's a little different for me 'cause females are often forced into male roles in video games. It's nice that we have a choice in TES. :tes:

Every time I tried to make a redguard they looked really ugly because the area around the eyes but I just can't belive how good Red looks. 1,000x better on the TV than in the image.

I don't appreciate your antagonizing of him over something trivial. Especially that. So I kindly suggest you drop the attitude leave him alone.

If I remember correctly it was you that started posting condescending comments about people playing as characters of the opposite six for no apparent reason. You may think that by being unnecessarily confrontational and aggressive on these forums that you appear cool, big and clever but I can assure you that in fact you really don't. I would in fact say that the image you are portraying is indeed quite the opposite.

Don't make my female Breton and male Orc have to go over there and smack you all. Let's get back to topic.

At any rate, Red sounds like a pretty badass character. Good on her for her tactics. Truly the gods smiled on Ulfric when she entered his castle that day. Enjoy playing as her! :D

Yes quite stunning, whenever I try to create a female character they come out looking like the wicked witch of the west. LOL. It has to be said you really are a bit of a wizard with those sliders!

I decided to Restart Red but without all the unobtainable spells and items and 1,000,000,000 Septims and unlimited carry weight.
The game started to have longer loading times because my inventory was full of every item I came across. Atleast 100,000 items.
