So I just found out recently that D&D actually has a Dragonborn race, and this is what they look like.

Needless to say as an Argonian player I thought it was awesome. I'm surprised no one brought this up earlier.

Don't think you need DnD to tell you the obvious. 
Though seeing that artwork makes me want to play another Argonian Dragonborn. One that's less...dainty.

Not really any race "makes more sense" to be Dragonborn, Only that people would more expect them to be a Nord.
Akatosh does whatever the hell he wants, perhaps he just decided to screw over everyone's expectations and give his gift to an Argonian

Akatosh should have favoritism towards Argonians. Hell they're the only race(aside from actual dragons) that actually look like him. But noooo, he decides to favor smelly Nords.

Funny thing is, one of the reasons why I've always played Argonians in Skyrim is because to me an Argonian does make more sense as a dragonborn...they look like dragons lol
