this happens to be the only quest bug on a very lengthy character, so i'm keen to get this out of my quest log. I have a misc quest to help Sorine that i was given after finishing Dawnguard, but i have already done all of the Ancient Technology quests prior. My misc quest says speak to Sorine about plans to upgrade her crossbow, but conversation does not push the quest further anymore, i'm not given new locations. The quest for Ancient Technology is registered as completed, and i have tried modifying the stages to no avail. I'm not sure if that quest applies to this misc quest too, or if this is a precursor with a different ID. I am using the unofficial dawnguard patch and hoped that would correct the issue, but i've had no luck with that either. I'm wondering if anyone can shed light on this, as i've been searching for a good while and found no suggestions.

After completing the first quest of Ancient Technology, she might not offer any more of the quests in the chain. / or it can be related to any unofficial mod.

• One fix is to reload a previous save before you took the quest.

The thrust of my post was to find out if there is a way to modify this as a misc quest. I've tried editing the stages of Ancient Technology but it isn't changing the misc quest that acts as a prelude to it.

Up until now i've managed to complete everything as and when i was given the quest, major or minor.
