Well, Nords don't have fur because they like to show their pretty fair skin. Ofcourse.

Not that they all have such a skin. Some get a bit rugged, like that one Gray-Mane guy.

Plus, Imperial Luck is useless practically, and Voice of the Emperor has more limitations than Battle Cry.

I prefer Bretons myself. 25% resistance of all Magic attacks is quite useful, as is Dragonskin.

From a Min-Max perspective, I'd have to give it to Argonian Vampires boosted via Necromage:

Histskin to rapidly regenerate, even in daylight

WIth Atronach Perk, Necromage, and Atronach Stone, total immunity to magic.

An ability similar to Night Eye

Immunity to Disease

Immunity to Poison

Free Waterbreathing

More powerful hand to hand than most races though weaker than Khajiit

Probably is Nords, I don't find their frost resistance anymore useful than the Dunmer's fire resistance and their shout ability isn't much more useful than an Imperials voice power. Natural powers don't get used much by me though anyways lol. Usually don't need them no matter the race. I probably use the Bosmer's ability the most.

You can talk about superior elves all you want, but only Nords and Redguards have eradicated entire races. No left handed elves, and almost no snow elves, besides their twisted remains and a few handful normals.

Every game in the TES series is centred around the default character (host race).

It was the same in Oblivion, Morrowind...

Being able to customise your character which includes being able to change your race is just an added in bonus.

Every race will eventually get their story / game as the series moves through Tamriel
