Quick Assistance with ENB

Post » Thu Dec 12, 2013 3:07 pm

So I grabbed the Vibrant Fantasy ENB off the nexus, it's all running great, but I don't personally like the crazy amount of screen glare i get when i use a fire spell, for example. It's super pink and blinds my entire screen. I'd post images if that will help but Idk if that's against forum rules. I'm not sure which modifiers I need to erm, modify, in the shift+enter menu to reduce or just remove that. Any help is much appreciated.

Your best bet is to lower these settings:

[PARTICLE]

Intensity*=1.0 (where * is day, night, interior, etc.)

2nd best option is to lower these settings:

[LIGHTSPRITE]
Intensity*=0.25 (similar to above)
3rd option is way down in this section:
[ENVIRONMENT]
PointLightingIntensityDay=0.5 (night, interior, etc.)
...or...
ParticleLightsIntensityDay=1.0 (etc)
For all 3 of those sections, there are also Curve variables, such as:
[LIGHTSPRITE]
...
CurveDay=1.0
in general any variable with Curve in it refers to contrast. If you lower the value, contrast will be reduced, which will soften the effect, and sometimes slightly alter colors as well. I'll be surprised if none of the above settings work, but if they don't, post again, because there are a few other settings that will influence the fire effect.

I might be super wrong about how this works, but it's not actually letting me edit these values. it just locks skyrim up and nothing happens. I made a quick album on imgur showing the issue, it is either up front blinding the entire screen or the sides if i spin around, but i cant even post the link.

edit: derp i used the link function and it worked lol.

It's unfortunate but I'm basically unable to play with this ENB unless I can figure out the fix, this is almost unplayable, and I really like my magic. Hopefully i can fix it without uninstalling the entire ENB, i really like it.
