we all know at the end of shivering isles our character become the new sheogorath. so that means the sheogorath we meet at solitude in skyrim is our character we play in oblivion??? skyrim event came after oblivion crisis after all. just wanna know that.

Sheogorath may not necessarily be the Champion of Cyrodiil but he at least had to be someone who knew about the ongoing events in Cyrodiil

Maybe Sheogorath was the character who became the grey fox and the listener of the dark brotherhood. How else could he have known of the severed head?

In my opinion it's pretty clear that Sheo is the character who entered the Shivering Isles, not necessarily the CoC but still a character from Oblivion.

Pretty sure the consensus IS that he is the character from Oblivion, he makes remarks that only the CoC or someone close to Martin would know. Plus the quest in OBlivion explicitly states "you are the next Mad God".
