The Most Evil Thing You Can Do In Skyrim?

Post » Sun Dec 15, 2013 4:36 am

In Fallout 3 there is a very clear 'most evil thing in the history ever' moment, but I failed to find such an option in Skyrim.

Thoughts?

I added a poll as a guideline, but please do post if you have your own ideas.

EDIT: I think the evilest thing I can come up with is asking a woman to marry you, arranging a wedding, calling it off at the very last minute, kill all of her friends, then kill the wife, soul trapping her. Then eat her corpse with the Ring of Namira. > : )

I would never do something like that; not even in a video game. I really cannot think of anything more evil than your suggestion.

Killing every Chicken should be the obvious answer, second is supporting the Mead Dynasty

Never getting involved in the Main Quest. Our character exists to forcibly rejoin Alduin and Akatosh, falure to deal with Alduin means enslavement for Nirn.

That's evil, but more.. psychopathic and sadistic. Below, is imo, the evilist. It's hard to say that someone who would do that is evil, because clearly they are VERY mentally disturbed and need help (irl, in game it'd creep me out if someone did that but I'd overlook it. Just be.. careful around them.)

This would be the evilist.

That Boethia one really ruined my day. I would like more options.

I left the Volkihar vampires yesterday. I thought they owed me more respect for ridding the place of Harkon. It's sad to loose use of the sword it was kickass. The radiant quests were exciting at first then it was nothing but assassinate a high profile person all the time. Might as well return to loud death lady. Boring. I would have liked to see quest options to make the castle more evil or more good. Like an option to kill the slurp gluttons at the dinning table would have been nice. At least to be able to turn all occupants mortal and keep them as followers instead of having stupid princess girl all the time.

I love this game but I didn't see a lot of "choose your own good/evil path" kind of quests (seems to favor evil if you want to experience all that's offered). I understand wanting a bigger bent toward evil game play instead of always saintly hero but options go both ways.

Killing Nilsine Shatter-Shield for Muiri counts as pretty evil in my books.

Muiri is upset because her old friends, the Shatter-Shields, blame her for Alain Dufont robbing them so she has you murder her old friend causing the mother to commit suicide.

edit: Killing the Vigilant of Stendarr for Molag Bal is pretty evil too but because the quest is poorly designed you're left with no other option.

Yesterday I shot a rabbit that kept hopping back and forth in front of me. I felt so badly that I reloaded and went on my way.

Causing the mothers suicide really did it for me I'll admit. Muiri is not worth it.

Not doing the MQ is fine with me (most my characters don't bother anymore), since like most things in the game there is no actual consequence in the game for not doing it.

But as far as deliberately doing something evil against an NPC, nothing really stands out to me. Even the Shatter-Shield thing shouldn't count since by then you are part of the Dark Brotherhood. Noting with that the Wedding killing is pretty bad also considering how happy the couple was before her accident.

Nothing like the FO3 big baddie though.

Marry someone, adopt two kids that are desperately wanting parents, put them in a nice house with lots of stuff, and then murder your spouse in front of them and ship them off to the orphanage.

I haven't done this yet, but I am going to if I come home one more flippin time and find Lucia standing on the table.

I always have to nuke at least one bunny - can't have my Bunnies Slaughtered stat be zero.

But I do harvest him, cook his leg and eat it like a good hunter should.

The best thing I did with my evil wizard was dead thrall the Emperor and had him tag along as I took apart his Imperial Legion in the Civil War....he watched as I paralyzed his favorite general then roasted him alive helplessly with wall of flames.

The most evil thing that I can think of yet haven't done would be to orphan a child by killing their parents in front of them, that's probably as wicked as it gets within the game.

EDIT: take it 1 step beyond by eating their parents and then killing Constance so they're forced to live out their days with only Grelod...yea that's about as evil as I can think of. :P
