I found a Daedric helmet in a chest in an unmarked bandit camp. It is south east of haafingar storm cloak camp and south west of Solitude. I am unsure if because my level is 42 the chest spawned something like that because of my level or if any player no matter the level could get it But I hope this gives a kick start if like me you don't like levelling up your smithing to get Daedric armour. Good luck! By the way tell me if you guys find it or if it's just a one off glitch.

It's just a level item. If you were lower leveled, it would have probably been an Iron helmet or something.

It is leveled loot. I think Daedric (youtube armour and weapons) start appearing as random loot when the playerborn is level 40.

It's just I thought you could only smith Daedric armour.

Like I said. Its leveled loot. It's very rare, so there is really no guaranteed place to find YouTube armor/weapons. You could go to the Atronach Forge as Micheal said.
