I dont know why this is happening but in my house in Soltitude the Mannequins are moving. The first time i saw it i almost jumped. I dont know what caused that. Is there a way to fix this

This has been happening to just about everyone who's played Skyrim since the game released, and not just in Proudspire Manor.

Their watching you, waiting, their always hungry and they must feed.

They are NPC's I set one up once and hand him working away on a forge, he was very polite.

They scared the hell out of me, happened in my Markarth home. I was about to place some armor on it, then it turned it's head. I jumped and used every destruction spell I had, proceeded to flee from Markarth and never returned.

I've never seen this once and I've played almost every night since release...I feel left out of the haunted house party :P

I've never seen them move but I have seen them pop up in places they shouldn't be...Like my room for some reason...then by the door the next day...Maybe they get bored of just standing there all day.

I've had them walk across the room in front of me. Or turn and watch me as I walk by. I don't have a compelling need to display my armor so I usually just disable the creepy bastards.

 :bolt:

just read a comment then checked bugs section of Houses on UESP. it is an official bug that the mannequins are like NPCs so they move around if they detect that they are "attacked".

still scary as Dagon's Realm from the game Oblivion.

Weeping Angels...

Which reminds me, the Meridia statue at her shrine in Skyrim looks suspiciously like a Weeping Angel...

You think it's scary to see them walking around your house?

Wait till you find one cooking in Honeyside, while the other is sleeping in your bed. And so is your wife.

One of my characters hasn't been in Honeyside for years.
