A large-scale mod currently in development for Skyrim.

It takes place in the new worldspace called "New High Rock" which is non persistent in the TES lore.

Yet all of the mods aspects are lore-friendly and dosen't conflict with the TES background.

A cirque between Markarth and Jehenna, the region is ruled by various noble families forming many feudal counties.

Background of New High Rock

"New High Rock" was founded by Grégoire de Sistre at the end of the Second Era, When he fled the war that made Talos create the First Empire.

He settled in an uninhabited and dangerous region that he pacified and named "New High Rock"

Soon his subjects settled all around and formed three counties: Sintavoise, near the Athel-Loren Lake in the southern forests.

Penthiver was formed in the western prairies and Lestre on the northern coast.

This secluded Region avoided Imperial dominance for more that two centuries and became a small, yet powerful kingdom.

The crown would move to the head of the Montroise family when the Empire decided to annex New High Rock following the siege of Alesbourg city.

The remenants of the de Sistre family secretly sworn to take back the crown and founded a spy network called "The Whisperers" in order to favour their schemes.

The Montroise family managed to rule the country up until the Oblivion Crisis, when th de Sistre took advantage of the Empire's weakness and did take back the crown.

The crown has now been in de Sistre's hands until this day, and when New High Rock once again stands in conflict with the Empire, Vortigern the Iron King has taken sides with Ulfric in his war for Skyrim.
