Anyone else besides me find it insane to finish the nightingale/thieves quest chain? I mean I served her in Oblivion and I don't want to offend her goddess eminence but dannng, mesa wants. She no get that key back.

By the time I get far enough into the game to get the Skeleton Key, I have so many lockpicks that it's no big deal if I break a dozen or more trying to pick a master lock. I don't see the point in keeping it myself.

I kept it once, because you can rush through the thieves guild quests *really* fast. but eventually I gave it back because the Amulet of Articulation is much more valuable.

Same here. Sorry babe, but this treasure is MINE! You should look after your things more if you don't want random people stealing and keeping them. No honor among thieves, dear Nocty.

I have to agree, by the time you get the Skeleton Key. You should have more then enough Lockpicks to deal with the occasional Hard/Master Lock.

I would have kept it but...I already had 100 lockpicking so my lockpicks never break.

I also find it hard to not level up lockpicking in skyrim...I mean, I'm a loot-fanatic xD

I'm going to keep mine for a little while. I'm going to do do the very annoying grindfest of Legendarying Lockpicking, so I'll use the Skeleton Key for that I guess.
