After many frustrating attempts at building a castle for my character I've decided to use the Castle Dour interior architecture to make my home. The only existing elements in my created file are the architectural elements (walls, floors etc), navmesh, lighting items and lighting references, and banners. All other items, NPCs, or references have been deleted. The pieces are all in a named interior file separate from the actual Castle Dour files, and have been edited to be owned by the Player faction.
Q1- If I'm going to place these in reference to a different location in the game will this violate the "Do not delete Vanilla items" rule? i.e., will there still be potential reference CTD issues if there are no items in the file to create a double reference to and the actual Castle Dour in Solitude is unmodified?
Q2- Is there any way to determine the area, in floor squares, of larger exterior elements such as walls, towers, and buildings? I'd like to eventually recreate interior spaces that accurately represent the area and shape of the Castle Dour exterior elements.
Q3- Is there a way to do a mass Find and Replace? I'd like to be able to select all the banners and replace them at one time rather than having to select them individually.
