After spending most of the day for the last 3 days playing this game and advancing, I finally decided to join the Imperials in the war. I was sworn in and have yet to even complete a single quest for them. Since I have sworn in, I noticed that ANY hold that is allied with the Stormcloaks now ATTACKS ME ON SIGHT. I spent 2 hours trying to fix this issue but all to no avail. This has happened in Riften, Windhelm, and for some reason a guard that's in front of Cicero's wagon also attacks on sight, and is not killable. I have already tried the following on the guards in these cities as they attack me:

• Pulling out weapons then sheathing
• Attacking guards then sheathing
• Earning bounties in holds that don't attack me, paying it off, then traveling to holds that have been attacking me.
• Waiting for 3-5 days (in-game)

I have 0 bounty in all holds, 0 murders, no one has ever caught me for anything (as I do play a thief.) If anyone could please help me with this, I'd be extremely grateful, as I cannot play the game at all right now in these conditions.

Civil War Overhaul - it's one of the features of the mod.

I had a feeling it might be this and deactivated it, and it still happens. Do I maybe need to restart from a save from before this all happened while it's deactivated,and go from there?

Seriously though, it sounds like something's glitched with the player faction.

For both Imperials and Stormcloaks, if you stand around their soldiers for too long without moving along they get aggressive. (But that's not exact your problem here...)

Have you installed the Unofficial Skyrim patch !!!!!

1. Install that patch - reload your save wait for 31 days, and make a new save...

2. Then load that save and see what happens with that faction problem !!!!!

If it's not working, load the save before you used Civil War Overhaul wait 31 days make a new save, and play after with that save !!!!!
