Well i know how to do it. Its just harder than i thought. I need to get some goons after me to get the metaphysical wheels of an RP i have turning. Having trouble doing so though. I robbed Lemkil outta house and pocket, still nothing. A couple others too. Im not killing anyone though...not yet, at least.

Are there any NPCs that are more likely to send thugs out? Preferably someone whos a total ass (like Lemkil), but they have to be non-essential...if you catch my drift.

When I killed him, his wife sent thugs after me in two in game days.

I know you said you didn't wanna kill anyone but..well..Nazeem is useless enough that he won't be missed

The last time I "acquired" the famous Argonian Ale and gave it to Brenuin, Hulda didn't take it well and sent thugs after me. I've done this quest more times than I care to remember and this was the first time I've had something like that, coming from "her".

UESP states hired things may be sent out -this implies they also may not

If you kill Hroki in Markarth her father always sends thugs after you.

Why would you wanna kill Hroki?
