Uninstalling Hearthfire and the aftershock I got from it : V

Recently I had to uninstal and reinstall the DLC Hearthfire since I needed to remodel my homes.

Everything went ok, until I tried to get my follower [or any follower] back but ALL of the possible

NPCs say I have a follower already but I don't.. even the chick I had as a follower when I uninstalled it

says that.

Thing is, I had Rayya as a follower but what I didn't know was she was apart of the DLC so I

think it messed up my follower option. I have tried everything, I went to jail, I went back to the cave

I was at last, I killed Rayya, I have already done the Companions quests and I did the Dark Brotherhood

and nothing has worked. I'm freaking out, since I can't start a whole new file. I'm going to try and

reinstall it again and hope it fixes it self somehow.

Can anyone help me? I'm getting so frustrated

trying to find answers online.

I'd revert to a save from before uninstalling Hearthfire, activate it if/once installed, and forego that method of remodeling entirely. Things should then be back to normal. Beth doesn't advise/support uninstallation or updating of plugins mid-game.

You could wait dor a couple of days (8 in game days) !!!! Then automatically if you hade a follower they get bored after a while if you don't use them, and wander back home.

So either way you find them back on your home, or he/she will go back on that place you have recruited that follower.

Then you should normally recruit a new follower.
