Error on starting new game

I'm loathe to post this question, but I recently reinstalled MW GOTY for PC with lots of mods etc, and I get an error as soon as the prison ship scene begins.

The error reads:

sript fl_fp_global trying to RunFunction index greater than function count

Jiub appears and I can access the console or escape to options or exit, but I can't move my character and jiub does not speak. The only notice I see in the game window is MCP2.0

Tried deactivating some likely suspect mods from the launcher (e.g., immersive chargen), but nothing is getting rid of the error so far.

I realize that I can keep testing every mod, which I will do of course, but I have over 200 and I'm hoping someone may have a clue what's going on in the meantime.

I'm concerned I did something wrong at the end with ini tweaks or with MGE XE (using 9.9 with the 9.10 beta), and I'm also a little confused about whether or not Morrowind Patch 1.6.5 Beta (BTB) should be active or not in the launcher (tried both ways and still had the error I described above.

Starting to go a little crazy after 3 days of loading, reading, cleaning, merging, reordering.

In a different thread Dragon 32 gives the probable cause as .............


One mod that may be causing the error could be Fliggerty's Fleeing Fetchers, so ensure you have MWSE 0.92 or later running or MGE 3.1

Hmm are you using MWSE, or MGE?
You will need that for Fliggerty's mods.

Well most of Fliggerty's mods that is.

The error suggests that you are trying to play a mod that requires MSWE and not running MWSE.

MGE has MWSE included in it so if you have MGE do not run MWSE with it unless you disable the interior MWSE in MGE.

MGE-XE 0.9 is a newer version than MGE 3.8.2 Rev-178 so that's not your problem, but you need to make sure you haven't disable the internal MWSE in the 'In-Game' tab in MGE-XE.

It's safe to activate Morrowind Patch 1.6.5 Beta (BTB) in your loadorder and post the contents of Warning.txt here.

Okay, part one is solved. MWSE was not disabled in MGE XE (so that doesn't seem to be the issue), but Full Paralysis turned out to be the specific culprit. Running into new problems again, but at least I can make it to the trap door in the ship before everything falls apart. :icecream:

I can figure most of these out of course, but the behavior in game was that, inside the ship, everything was great. After activating the trap door, I had a nice long look at some far away inner mountains scene, like being in one of the foyodas (sp?) with a bridge in the distance. Everything was frozen, then the sails of the ship appeared, and everything remained frozen again in terms of player controls.
