What Race should I be? Werewolf

Post » Tue Dec 24, 2013 2:29 pm

I am starting a new character on (360) SKYRIM and I want to make maybe a more melee type kind of character and be a werewolf. (My first profile is a vampire that is focused on Destruction Magic/some archery/Sneak)

So what do you guys think be a cool/good race thats gonna be a werewolf? Open suggestions for anything to go along with it

Nords and Orcs fit the role perfect but an Altmer, Breton or Argonian makes it more wierd and fun.

Bosmer Warrior or Dunmer warrior are both awesome as werewolfs. Bretons in general make awesome of ANY character with their delicious magic resist.

Well, I've yet to see a shower in skyrim so I guess anyone living there would smell pretty bad :P

I sense a joke here :P

Orc, Nord or Breton would be my first choices. Currently I am playing a Breton forsworn tricked into Lycanthropy by hagraven mothers. http://i.minus.com/ibheLaLdMqCYxt.jpg

Well, there is a war going on... :starwars:

Nords seem allergic to water. There are streams and falls all over the place.. Hell they could even heat some water in a pot, yet they opt to drink the smell away. :D

Indeed, my dear.Anyone that knows me will know I share no love for the inbred evolutionarily challenged knuckle draggin' frostbacks.

Al mismo tiempo....

Whoops, English.

At the same time you can go into peoples homes in puppy form, scratch their furniture, then sit on their head.

Have all/any of you had experiences as playing as a werewolf? From my research and experience playing as a vampire lord in my first profile, vampire seems to have more pros than cons compared to werewolf. I heard some people talking about having to feed, blah blah. But you really dont "have to" feed. You're really better off not feeding to keep your "hungered state" benefits like seduction and embrace of shadows.

So I like to hear a more direct feedback from the official forums of Skyrim.

So what do you guys think of being a werewolf? Do the Pros outweigh the cons and how many are there? I've heard some general ones on other forums.

DISCUSS!

Zero, I have played both forms. I have to say that they both tend to get stuck in small tunnels and doorways. I don't really like forced third person view for anything, so probably not the most objective on this.

Hope you have fun with your Dunmer werewolf character. Werewolf is my favorite and have played as a Nord and a Redguard.

Werewolfs are cool, but unless you have dawnguard DLC, it is honestly sort of pointless except for RP purposes. Unlike being a vampire, there is only one real small negative effect (no more rested bonus), but it eventually gets to a point that you are killed faily easily by almost anything. WITH dawnguard. it becomes FAR more powerful with the per tree, and you can even take down some of the lesser dragons as a werewolf with decent ease. Once again though, it CAN eventually get to a point where it becomes almost too much of a glass cannon and takes basically no hits. IT is VERY fun when you are able to use it (on bandits, it can be hilariously fun for example) but your humanoids form eventually surpasses it in strength sadly.

As i said before though, unlike being a vampire, there are no big negative effects (just do not transform in front of anybody) and it is powerful early on, it just becomes almost redundant later on IMO. Of course, IMO, it is STILL much better than being a vampire, which has very few real advantages and some serious disadvantages.

I usually don't play as wearwolves but I would think with their bruttish strength I would stay with a bruttish race like Nord or Orc.
