Skyrim and Ultra Wide

Post » Tue Dec 24, 2013 11:37 am

Hey all, just got a 29" Ultra-Wide monitor, 2560×1080 . All my other games seem to be supporting it natively. What is the best way to get Skyrim to properly make use of all this great screen space.

Are you talking about the UI? You don't. Unless someone has made a new UI for the eyefinity and ultra wide displays.

Now, if you want the game to run in the ultra wide, you will probably have to make the change in the Prefs file. But, have you installed the drivers for the monitor? That may tell the system which will tell the game what res is available.

Anyway, find these lines and use the values you need

iSize H=1080
iSize W=1920

Just be aware the UI may be stretched across the entire width of the screen.
