I have Windows 7, 64 bit, Lenovo. Fallout and TES games in the same directory, different folders. bAllowScreenShot are all set to 1 for all games. Yet only Fallout 3 produces screenshots but Skyrim and Oblivion do not. Is there a solution or article?

Using the "Print Screen" button on the keyboard works for me. It saves a screenshot to the game directory. Also, assuming you use Steam to run Skyrim (which I think is required), you can take screenshots by pressing the F12 key (set by default in Steam).

Print Screen works for Fallout 3, but not for Oblivion. Yet I also have FO3, Morrowind and Oblivion on an old XP laptop and it works there. The XP is 2007, to old to run Skyrim to find out. If Oblivion works on the old box, then it could be Win7 itself. I will try the F12 for Skyrim. Steam, online or off?

If it is Win7 blocking screenshot, is there a screen capture program out there that can be used during a game?

To bad there is no utility that could convert the Save game image into a jpeg, that would work too.

You can capture screenshots with FRAPS. The free version only allows you to save in .bmp format; if you buy the full version, it will allow you to capture screens in .jpg, .tga and .png formats as well.

Are you using AA (Anti Aliasing) ? -- In Oblivion using AA will break the screenshot utility - you will either need to turn off AA or get Fraps if you want to use AA.

For some reason F12 don't work for me, but Print screen does. (PrtScn)
