Skyrim Nexus Won't let me download anything?

Okay I am signed up and every time I click a server to download on their site, it's like the mod itself doesn't even want to work properly.

So.... error messages? which server are you attempting to download from? Diagnosis cannot occur without information. "it's broken" isn't sufficient.

Are you in a que? The free servers tend to fill up and it can take up to 20 to 30 minutes sometimes for a download to start.

One reason why I went with a premium membership.

It happens to be any server, the box that says run does not pop-up at all, I been trying to fix this for days, is someone ruining the server at nexus because those sites all go super slow?

I've been using Nexus for several years (5-6 or so) and don't recall waiting in queue often, or at least not so long. Though it may be so because of the time zone difference - when I'm downloading mods in the evening here in Europe, it's early there in US and people are still at school or work.

No "Run" dialogue would show for mods. Mods are not executables or installers so you simply get an archive file. You then have to install what's inside of it.

As others said, provide more information. Does the download even begin? It sounds like it downloads then you're mistakenly waiting for it to do something once the download completes.

The download sits after I click the server then the box that is suppose to open to run the mod, does not show up, I did install your mod from that site and every since that time I haven't been able to download a single mod at any nexus site.

I just tried it, and I got the same issue as you but I got one download to pop up.

I first tried Alexander's mod, and chose the Dallas server since it was the first one on the list. Nothing showed up. I then went to another random mod page and the same thing happened so I tried again with the mod and instead of choosing Dallas, I chose San Jose since it is the closest server to me, and It finally popped up. Did you try a server that is closest to you?

I have read other forums and people have stated the same problem as myself over at the nexus forum itself, I do not understand why nexus always has so many problems, even know I know they host a lot of mods, it said enable the active script under custom levels in the security tab, it was enabled and nothing will let me download nothing. I do not understand why nexus is always hit so hard.

They just recently did a HUGE server migration so it's very possible that there are still lingering issues. The old problems were caused by a bad server setup, so hopefully now that they've migrated to a new system, once it's smoothed out these issues will largely go away.

But if others are having the same issue then it sounds like a Nexus problem and you'll just have to wait for them to fix it.
