is it possible? or are all elves in the elder scrolls grotesque

are you on PC? or console? on PC it is easy thanks to mods, it IS possible to do so on vanilla Skyrim, but fairly difficult.

I have a (IMO) VERY good-looking Bosmer Cleric, but i also run several mods that make characters look better.

My tip would be that less is more. If you want a narrower jaw, for example, don't grab the slider and fling it all the way to the end. Just go down one or two notches, go look at something else, then come back to it and decide if you want to drop it another notch. Reason being it might look good to you at that moment when you slide it all the way to the side, but then you go and adjust something else and it doesn't look right anymore.

Honestly it really comes down to what you consider beauty. TES elves are not your smooth skin fair featured elves found in the LoTR or the Hobbit. TES elves have rugged features, sharp edges and narrow chins.

What some people call an ugly elf, others might call beautiful. Take the dunmer. Probably the ugliest looking elves I've ever seen and yet they are beautiful. I like the orcs. Their ugliness is their beauty.

But it may be harder to make a beautiful elf based on your opinion of beauty without being on the PC. There are lots of mods to make beautiful elves. Not only vanilla style but LoTR or even Dragon Age.
