Hey!

I bought Skyrim on steam summersale this summer. I've always wanted to try it out on PC, since i've only played the game on Xbox360. I finished the game on Xbox360 with no bugs or problems.

But on PC im stuck, I cant get past Battle of Whiterun, my game always crashes. i got an high end pc, i've turned down graphic options to low, and still the game CTD's. I got no mods installed nothing, What am i supposed to do now?

You could shut down unneccessary programs via "Start > Search > Services.msc" and Start > Search > "msconfig".

OK, you've got a fresh install and no mods, but the game crashes when you're doing what exactly? Is it crashing in Dragonsreach or Whiterun or when you're in battle or..? Give us some info about what you're doing and exactly where it's causing your game to crash.

Also, high end PC is not much to go on. Please post at the very least your cpu, amount of system ram and the model # of your video graphics card. This should probably be moved to the PC support thread.
