Hi everyone.

Sorry that I start a new theme, I know this has already been frequently asked but I couldn't find a solution in the web that worked for me.

So my problem is:

I was entering the Brotherhood of Steel for the first time. Inside I did a quicksave and a few seconds later the game crashed.

Now whenever I load this Quicksavefile it loads the beginning of the game. I am outside in Goodsprings with lvl 1 and zero skills or perks. In the upper right corn it tells me that the game has loaded all the addons etc.

The next savefile before this one is sadly 13 h away from the actual one.

Please help me !!!!

Its a corrupted save file, there's nothing you can do. Next time to avoid a corrupted save file you can turn off auto saves and don't use quick saves.

One thing you can try actually. Check your saved game directory. C:\Users\\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV (in case you don't know where it is)

There should be a quicksave.fos.bak as well as an autosave.fos.bak. These are backups of the previous quick and auto save. FIrst make a copy of the entire saves directory.

Next simply delete the original quicksave.fos and remove the .bak portion from the other file name. Try that file. You can also try the autosave file as well if you want.

In the future, make sure to make NEW manual saves often. Don't rely on quicksave alone.
