Help me make my Skyrim stable again please!

Hello everyone, I would first like to say that if this is not the right area to apologize and would ask the moderators to move it to the correct area. Now I would like to say I am at my wits end here. l love Skyrim to death, this game is my most played game ever. But I am getting closer and closer to calling it quits as I cannot seem to have a game that is stable and playable. I am very careful to what mods I install, and update when I make a new game. I never uninstall a mod once I start that new game. I use Wyre Bash, I clean my mods. I just do not get it. However it just doesn't seem to make a bit of difference. Once I hit about 20 hours then - BAM I start crashing left and right. My last game which I found to be pretty stable recently started freezing in the menus. I have never once had that happened to me at all. So I just uninstalled Skyrim and all my mods to start completely fresh.
Now my plea to you community, what can I do to make it so Skyrim will last me where I don't crash every hour? I really don't think I go all out with mods I used about 40 mods last time with the majority being just texture replacers. I did use project ENB with it and to be quite honest I don't think I could go back to playing skyrim with the desaturated colors.
What mods can be recommended to make sure I have the most stable experience? I would like to be able to use:
Skyre
Climates of Tamriel
Footprints
Wet and Cold
Frostfall
Convenient Horses
Pure Waters
All the unofficial patches
These mods are pretty much a 'must have' for me
I also would like to know if there are any ini tweaks I should use or avoid? ( The only time i have tweaked my ini files was for my ENB)
As I type this post, I have Skyrim downloading from Steam so as of now it is completely vanilla. Please help me out guys I really need it and appreciate it. Thank you

I have:
All the unofficial patches
Footprints
Wet and Cold
Frostfall

So I would look at

Skyre

Climates of Tamriel
Convenient Horses
Pure Waters
and the other mods out of the 40 you use, including ENB and any heavy graphics and texture mods or heavily scripted mods. Also make sure no heavily scripted mods are too old and are updated for patch 1.9 where possible.
Ini tweaks to be avoided:
uGridsToLoad=7
uInterior Cell Buffer=36
uExterior Cell Buffer=64
These worked perfectly for me for 20 months, then I enabled Dragonborn and the game was unloadable in Solstheim.
So I had to revert to:
uGridsToLoad=5
uInterior Cell Buffer=18
uExterior Cell Buffer=36
Sadly, the far distance looks really bad now.
But you need to sort your mods with BOSS as well.

For heavy texture mods I use the Skyrim 2k lite edition and I dont really use script heavy mods besides the ones I had listed above (I like it to be somewhat realistic) I also have not touched ugridstoload since the first few months of the game being released. I also forgot to mention I always use BOSS to sort my mods. I always check to make sure I have everything updated for when I start my new game, that way I do not have to update and possibly make my game more unstable

Edit: I have also disabled the autosaves and that does seem to help crashing upon entering a building
