After I installed Claws + Monk Gear Version 1.0 pre2, I read the merchant list for the added items and headed for them ASAP to test if the mod was installed properly. Talking to the NPC listed in Oblivion\Data\Claws+MonkGear SPOILER.txt, I didn't hear from them as usual plus there was a subtitle I HAVE NO GREETING, plus there seem to be a popup on the upper-left that goes beyond the screen ; although beside that initial skipped talk, the NPCs talked. At first I did not make a fuss of it as another mod I've been using with satisfaction, Cyrodiil transportation network 1.3, have added NPCs which does not talk at all to the player, they talk to other NPCs though (pvssyr) ; so I assumed the NPCs directly related to the mod were modified in a similar way. But then I noticed other NPCs were affected by this effect. So far I noticed all NPCs beside guards, those added by Shivering Isles and those added by another mod were affected.
I don't understand what's going on, I disabled the mod in vanilla oblivion interface, by unchecking its entry in the mod list, reached by clicking Data Files in the 1st window loading Oblivion\OblivionLauncher.exe. I then found out every file from the mod archive Claws and Monk Gear-5432.zip then deleted the corresponding extracted files. The undesirable effect continued so I deleted the empty folders where the mod files used to be. Also, I though it might simply be related to game saves after the installation of the mod, but loading files preceding that have the same problem.
I want NPCs to behave as there used to, as the vanilla game have them. I'd be somewhat understanding if the mod, files extracted from the archive, modified a file, but they only add files which I deleted. I assume there's some mechanism which modify vanilla game automatically when a mod is installed, be it a configuration file.
Please help me returning NPCs to normal behavior without having to completely reinstall the game, patch it, then install all other mods. Thanks

The reason why I didn't try to have the undesirable NPC effect removed while I kept the mod is that all the gauntlets & bracers necessary for the player to wear a claw, have light or heavy armor and my character is unarmored ; running Unarmored skill mod v 1.0.
