Elves are playing music, Men are singing.

This is an idea raised some times ago on TIL, which is now more and more interesting. We know that TES are an opposition between music and color, colors being more or les Magne-Ge, Music inhabitants of the Mundus.

Moreover, Towers would be music instruments ; Lorkhan is the Doom Drum, and at the Red Mountain, the tools of Kagrenac are used to play with his heart.

Most of the towers are linked with an elvish race.

Now, the humans. humans are singing, and usually singing fight (word and sword).

- Nord have the Thu'Um.
- Tsaesci have the http://www.imperial-library.info/content/children-sky (if this is at least a bit close to real life Kiai, it isn't Thu'Um in fact - or rather, it is a different tonal magic)

- Redguards have Sword-Singers

- Imperials have the voice of the Emperor... which is also probably the "http://www.hotfiles.ro/download/trans_cyrodiil_insurgency_s01e04.pdf/811180"

So, Elves have different tonal architecture, and most of them create towers (except the red Mountain, used mainly by dunmer, who seem to have different ideas than the caricatural evil nazi thalmor who wants to destroy the world).

You will also see that we have nothing about the Bretons... the speakwell in the TC:I is used by a Hjalti, but is it exactly the same as the early beard, and was he a breton, a Nord, or the origin of what we can call "Imperials"...

Interesting observation. I like it.

With the deal about the bretons, remember that they are halfbreeds, so they're weird. Unless someone can mention something I'm missing.
