Elder Scroll issue

Post » Fri Dec 27, 2013 9:30 am

Unsure where I picked it up but I have had an elder scroll in my inventory causing issues with weight recently. I can't place it in my storage chest due to it being a quest item but I am already done with the main quest. Any ideas how I can figure out where it came from so I can finish whatever it is to get that free weight back?

Quest items don't weigh anything.

You probably should have posted this in Cheats, Hints & Spoilers. It's probably something to do with Dawnguard.

Even though the scroll will say that it weighs something in your inventory, it actually weighs nothing. You can also

Um . . . I had three in my inventory at one point, and had nothing but quest items in my inventory.

When you try that check the weight.

Yeah. The item that you're trying to get rid of is involved in the Dawnguard DLC. So either hold onto it, or sell it.

Are you able to remove them from your inventory once the related quest is over? Like put them in a Hearthfire glass case?

That svcks. So your only 2 options are to keep them in your inventory forever where they dont weigh anything or sell them to the college?

It would appear so.. so his best bet would be too hold onto them for Dawnguard and then sell them.

Blah! I went through all that trouble to get them, now I'm gonna sell them? Nah I think I'll hold on to them.

I kept mine, for 1 is used twice, the MQ and Dawnguard, and the other 2 are also used in Dawnguard. I keep mine to remind me of all the blasted trouble I went through to get these. The sneaking, the fire slinging, the mechanical monsters, the falmer, etc.
