You have the half clear/half snowy tundra of the mid-to-south, the super rocky west, the hill-y backwoods area of the east and the harsh snowy ice fields of the north.

I always enjoy traveling through the snowy ice fields up north most. Not too sure why; there's just something about the atmosphere I like. I can't stand the western terrain. Cliffs and mountains everywhere you go, at every turn, maks it tough to get to simple places that should be quick to get to. For this very reason, I rarely travel to that side of Skyrim.

Eastmarch

I love the snowy mountains of the Pale and the forrests of Falkreath. Im with the OP in that I stay away from the west.

My favorite is the Rift. I also like the Reach.

Whiterun Hold. I also like the southern area of Eastmarch.

Falkreath

The Pale. Because snow.

Falkreath Hold because of how pretty it is, but the Rift is a close second.

Anywhere in the Reach.

Preferably just N of Sundered Towers.

I've said it before, but Whiterun Hold reminds me of home.

Up north where all the glaciers are reminds me of the first time I played the Dragonborn DLC

Hjaalmarch and Riften

Definitely Falkreath for me. Forested environments are my favorite in any RPG including Skyrim, i just wish their was more Forests in the game. If Falkreath was the size of Whiterun hold i woud've been very happy i think.

That's a tough one, maybe the area of falkreath but I do like me some snow.

I hate the jarl of falkreath though.

The jarl of dawn star makes me mad too, the way he mistreats his servant... I want to end his life >:|

I really like the terrain of the Reach. It's loaded with deadly briarhearts too, which I like to provoke

The Reach. Love hanging out with the locals (PC player so I aligned myself to the forsworn faction.)

The Rift or Whiterun fight for second place.
