Fortify One Handed and daggers

I made some fortify one handed apparel, but apparently it does not work on daggers.

That's true.

Daggers already have the potential to be the deadliest weapon in the game.

That is not accurate. Only if you use sneak, which I don't. :stare:

There is. There are perks in the 1-handed tree for them such a dual flurry and dual savagery. One does not need to "use" both weapons, just have both of them equipped.

I don't do double wielding...hate it. Hate it in Call of Duty and hate it in Skyrim. But thanks for the info, lass. :D

Dual wielding is also bad for daggers, power attacks with 2 daggers are much slower than that of another type of dual wielding.

Also, Daggers in TES are only ever meant to be used as a last resort (if you have nothing else), or for sneak attacking, they are supposed to be inherently worse for normal battles then another weapon type.

Fortify 1H doesn't apply to daggers in Vanilla but it does with the UOP. Apparently they had reason to believe that it was a bug, not an intended feature. Of course, if you're on xbox, this doesn't apply.

swords are probably better for you. You can make the bound sword, since you have conjuration.

There is also the bound dagger. Plus posions work on bound weapons.
