I recently got the shalidor quest and it points me to the rebel's cairn but i cannot enter as i don't have any of the red eagle swords I sold the reward a long time ago.

I know that the badits boss carry it but even if i read the red eagle legend book dozens of times I don't get the quest

Any help?

Why did you do that?

Do not sell a reward unless you are absolutely sure you will never need it again.

since you are on console, unless you can remember EXACTLY where you sold it and hope it did not respawn, then you are screwed i am pretty sure.

Unless the Briar Heart respawns with the sword required to open the way... sounds like your screwed.

How long ago did you sell it? Go to an earlier save perhaps? If not, then like others said, you're pretty much SOL.
