So I'm curious about who likes the beast races (Argonians and Khajiits). I personally never play as them, but I don't really mind them. They would probably be low in my list of favorite races however. I seem to hear a lot of people on the forum say they like them, and I want to know just how many people actually like them and/or play as them.

Keep in mind, the second question is not asking if you have ever played as a beast race before, It's asking if you play as them frequently and enjoy it. (In other words, don't say yes just because you tried an Argonian once for an hour and didn't like it.)

im a fan of them being in the series, tes wouldn't be tes without khajiits and argonians, but i do not enjoy playing argonians, khajiits are pretty fun, but it have to rp like a boss to play one..but otherwise yeah i have no problem with them..

I like the beast races, but have never played as one. I've only played as my thief/smith Imperial thus far. I have a few ideas floating around about my next character and a beast race is certainly an intriguing option.

I have always liked the beast races they are well done and they are a crucial part of the lore and its integrated nicely into the setting of Nirn, TES would not be the same if they was not a part of it.

i like playing them. but, skyrim has made it almost mockingly cosmetic.

and, with no unarmored/h2h or racial penalties/bonuses, then....

I love the beast races, but have not yet played a character as such. The idea has always intrigued me, but I've just not gotten around to it.

If there was a h2h skill I would probably like them but no, they're the weakest races to me.

I play them pretty regularly, and frankly it wouldn't be an Elder Scrolls game without them.

Beast races in Skyrim are wonderful.


I completely disregard racial powers/skill bonusses when making a new character, i visualize their look and see how it fits my mental picture.

There is the khajiits claw bonus that makes them do a ton of extra damage when fighting hand to hand, but maybe you were talking specifically about skill bonuses.

Khajiit is one of my top 2 favorite races, along with dunmer. I also really like how Argonians look in Skyrim but I haven't made one yet (I think I will eventually but not spend too much time on it)

I think they are great. as far as NPCs go they always seem the most pleasant to talk to.

I like the inclusion of beast races as that minority outcast type thing, but I never play as one. Personally, in rpgs in general, I like to play as the human race, because playing as the alien or orc or whatever just seems really cliched. Its like painting your armour black and dark red, it may look cool, but it looks generic when compared to everyone elses, because thats what everyone else does.

They are unanimously liked. If someone ruins this, my underwater Argonian clan will destroy you....if you venture off land..

They are cool but I've never played as one.
