How to increase sun spell damage

Post » Mon Dec 30, 2013 9:20 am

First off don't worry, i didn't make yet another character or change my playstyle drastically, im just curious for a build in the future. Im on a record for the past 3 months at level 29.

On topic: I LOVE THE SUN. I love the feeling of purity, i love praising it. BUT much like some other magic in skyrim. Its hard to use unless you have 0 cost and spam them. SO... is there a good way to increase damage for Sunfire, vampire's bane, and stendar's aura?

I hear augmented flames do somthing, so i guess azhidal's mask would as well. Not sure if there would be a big difference though.

Actually, I don't think there's anything that increases the damage of sun spells. Necromage perhaps.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Shalidor%27s_Insights:_Alteration#Shalidor.27s_Insights:_Alteration and the Fortify Restoration potions you buy or craft yourself.

*Yes, they stack ;)

Since they fall under restoration, I would imagine that outside of Shalidor's Insights, Fortify Restoration potions are the only option.

It's not like it's hard to spam fortify restoration potions. The ingredients are pretty easy to come by. Just make a lot of them and use them when you need them.

true, i'm just being picky about my character not getting into alchemy. Though personally alchemy is pretty great. Especially when an amulet of talos is involved

It's 50% cost reduction & 50% magnitude increase.

No, you can't do it in vanilla Skyrim.
