RL religious references, borderline trolling; generally when someone posts "Then my thread isn't going as intended." it usually isn't because they picked a safe topic.
And might I point out that mods can see ip addresses? Commenting in your own thread with a different name isn't a good idea.
*If* people can avoid the religion and trolling this can stay open. When the flames start, someone report it so it can be closed.
What about quality of life, overpopulation? If I knew fathering a child meant he had a 50% chance of inheriting some terrible malady, I personally wouldn't do it. And I personally wouldn't father 12 children, even out of love if it meant me just adding to the general head count in an area.
If God was so perfect I wouldn't have my testicles hanging externally and vulnerable to all of the world's dangers.
Are you sure about this....i mean the dangers. LOL
I'm 103% certain that nobody in this thread has been deeply insulted yet. Right guys?
Well if they do, it's up to them, but I wouldn't let them use that logic to prevent anybody else from having kids. It's a personal choice.
Also, back to the original post: I'd just like to say that postulating on whether somebody could ever be sick enough to give birth to somebody for the sole purpose of letting them experience pain is pretty ridiculous. It's not impossible I suppose, but it would be plain stupid to try and set up reproduction laws to keep it from happening.
To clarify, what I meant by that was, I wanted to spark an interesting discussion, which in this case may have involved a less than pleasant topic, and if that made people uncomfortable it probably means I made a thread about something that they might take interest in discussing. Not going to get anything out of a topic nobody cares about. I was aware that it's controversial, but I took the risk and hoped it would be safe for the forums.
I mean that's what Cayle did. Not me.
