After buying the Hjerim, the house in Windhelm, my character is feeling in need for some companionship. His age is around 68-71, he has however been alive for much longer. I was hoping for some suggestions for a wife who would be appropriate for my character? She has to be a Nord, and she has to be old. I hardly ever get married on my playthroughs so I was hoping for some suggestions?

I also wanted to find a good reason to adopt a child, although this may be more difficult to justify.

How about Yolanda? she's not that old but, she's a nord and a good wife.

Do you mean Ysolda? She's very young. I've married her before on a previous character.

She's not usually a favorite from what I can see (could be wrong), but I think around the same age. XD

What about Aela? she's a nord and she's pretty good looking. (I don't know any old nords...)

WAIT, I got one! Aeri! she is old and she's a nord! she's at anga's mil.

That's a fantastic suggestion, especially as she lives in Windhelm.

Hmmm, can't say I'm a fan of her clothing. My character is a thane afterall, but her age is almost spot on.

Njada Stone-Arm. I don't know her age but she appears to have grey hair.

Viola Giordano is unfortunately Imperial, but she's upper class and lives in Windhelm, and is older, so she fits very well except for the race.

Aeri is a very good option, too. Anga's Mill isn't far from Windhelm either. (If you're on PC you could always change her clothes)

Then we have Temba Wide-Arm. Not a beauty and maybe a little too young for an older gentleman like your character, but she's a strong Nord woman, and she wears decent clothes (red merchant dress). Lives in Ivarstead.

Another not-too-young-but-not-old-either woman is Mjoll.

Then we have a couple of older Dunmer ladies, if he feels like being strategic and show those complaining Dunmer down in the Gray Quarter that Nords don't hate them. Well, at least not because they're Dunmer.

First woman to come to mind was Aela. She's a beautiful woman who because of her werewolf nature I would imagine is older then she seems. She is a nord on top of that. Who better matched then her?
