I'm just wondering, is there a lore connection between the Dunmer and Ebony armor/materials? Im asking because im looking for a good set of Heavy Armor thats "native" to Dunmer that isnt Bonemold (too weak). Ebony just feels the right way to go, especially with Boethiah's Ebony Mail.

I think it is because Ebony is mostly mined on Morrowind, and so it is the most common there. That and it looks sleek and not all bulky, fitting for an Elven heavy armor.

Exactly. Raven Rock Mine is a good example. I see Dark Elves and Ebony armor as i see Orcs and Orcish armor...if that makes sense.
