Help Resurrecting

Well my current character wants to marry Morwen. Problem is I can't do her personal quest without the priest Runil in Falkreath.

Problem. Runil died in a random Dragon attack on Falkreath ... thanks to the wondrous Skyrim NPC AI that makes unarmed monks attack fire breathing dragons instead of letting the city guards handle it.

Anyway, I know I could just use a console code to make Morwen like me enough ( setrelationshiprank player 4 ) and just skip the quest, but I'd rather do the quest. I read that there are some issues with using resurrection, so I want to make sure I do it right.

I'm not sure Runil's body is still there. If it is, do I use it to resurrect him and if so what is the console command? If his body is gone, what commands do I need?

Thanks.

Ressurecting NPCs can be a bit of a headache as the game may still think that he's dead.

Before trying, make a seperate save incase stuff gets Messed Up.

If the corpse isn't there you'll need to enable it first.

Open the console and type:

prid 19820 (this will select Runil in the console and make him the target of further commands)

enable (skip if the corpse is still there)

resurrect 1
