Skyrim memories :)

I haven't played skyrim for quite a while and when I come back damn den memories, lonely ones like visiting the site of my old house during a snowstorm, Walking with kharjo as a mage next to a cliff with only darkness and snow below it, close to the collage during a blizzard, hunting seals on the shore of my old winter home, travelling through the depressing soul cairn and the bright but still slightly creepy vale, and creepy ones, finding a disembersed body of someone in a deep icey cave who had written a note to his brother before dying, adventuring through lands with my armored frost troll slaying monsters and fus roh dahing bears off cliffs, and the rare happy one like brining home my children gifts after a long journey and relaxing next to the fireplace listening to the scuttle of a tiny mudcrab, but the funny thing is those are the only things I remember. Is that the impression skyrim is supposed to have? Cold and lonely? And dark, depressing

One of my enduring Skyrim memories (and I know how odd this will sound) was how impressed I was when I saw ants on a tree stump for the first time. I remember telling my wife "Look honey, ants" and she was like "We have ants in the yard idiot."

Passing out after a drinking competition and seeing Markarth the first time.
