questions about skyrim for pc

Post » Thu Jan 02, 2014 1:23 pm

it says only partial controller enabled so what controllers will work? is a laptop powerful enough to handle the game plus countless mods ill probably wanna install and the creation kit? would it be worth getting the legendary edition? i used to have skyrim for xbox but never came anywhere close to finishing all quests so i question whether i would need the extra content. one last question, how often does skyrim go on sale, or will i have to wait a while before the prce drops again? all answers are well appreciated

The xbox 360 controller works with PC skyrim.

Test your laprop here http://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

Getting the legendary ED is worth it if you don't have all the DLC or the original game.

thanks Personablaze. it says I don't meet the minimum requirements due to the video card which I figured would happen and is disappointing nonetheless. but thanks for the help

even if the video card isn't top notch how much does that affect the gameplay? Would adding the mods put more strain on the video card?

Graphics mods add additional strain on video card but other mods typically don't.

What are the specs of your laptop? Skyrim isn't particulary heavy game, it can run on rather modest hardware.

Processor: Intel i5 2.3 GHz about 500G HDD 8G RAM graphic card: Intel HD Graphic Family

the link above said that I had the minimum requirements to run it but I mean if theres gonna be major framerate drop and lag playing is gonna svck. I could live without the graphic mods
