I find myself unable to make any progress in the final vault of Dead Money.

I take 3 steps and my collar explodes, 3 steps and boom, rinse & repeat ad nauseum, and then barely resist the urge to twist my controller into tiny plastic shards and throw what's left at the TV.

I'm fellow of advanced years and less than wonderful eyesight & dexterity, so I'd just like to get the heck out of this DLC and resume the rest of the (quite enjoyable) game. Because the Xbox version allows only 100 active saves, and it never occurred too me that this add-on would be so ******** tedious and feature such maddening gameplay so different from the rest of New Vegas, I did not maintain a pre-DLC save game.

So, I guess my question is if there's an exit option someplace that will just return me to the bunker so I can pick up my previous equipment and go home, sobbing softly. My char is level 50, completed Honest Hearts and Old World Blues. I've set gameplay back to "Very Easy."

You may try one of the many of the walkthroughs and guides throughout the internet. They pretty much detail every step needed to get to the end. If you are in the final vault, then you are pretty close to the end of the DLC.
