Reboot Confusion

Post » Fri Jan 03, 2014 10:17 pm

Hello,

I am now on my second reboot but completely flumoxed as to how it works.

On the first reboot not everything was reset. (Module tallies and many of the assessments did not reset). Some of the assessments where put down to zero - perhaps 20% of them.

On my second reboot completely everything has been reset including module and assessment tallies. The only thing not reset were my dogtags.

What is unusual though, despite this complete reset, when I rebooted for a second time I was on 9500 kills. When I reached 10,000 kills I received the 10,000 kill dogtag so obviously my kill tally was not reset.

It seems that the reboot is random as to what it resets or is there some sort of method to its madness?

Now I am have just started reboot I feel I am starting the game from scratch again!

What are other people's experiences regarding reboot? Do you get a partial resetting of your stats or is everything reset?

SEE BELOW FOR FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS REGARDING THIS BUG

Well, I did my reboots many "patches" ago. The first two reboots, I kept all module tiers while I stayed logged on right after the reboot. Once I exited the game and logged back in, they were reset back to tier 1. That happened on my second reboot as well. After that, a patch was released and I no longer had that bug. Other than that, the reboot reset everything, including assessment stats, which I believe it's supposed to do. The only thing it wont reset is your game stats such as hours played, xp gained, etc.

So, something very unusual happened today.

When I reached reboot 2 all my stats were reset except XP.

Today I finished a game playing reboot 2 lvl 29 and all my perks, weapon tallies, modules were restored!!

Explain that!!!!

If you played the campaign, sometimes the kills and achievements get flushed into your mp profile, and you get back unlocks after reboot(attachments, module levels, etc)
