Did a forum search and didn't see a thread for this. Veronica Mars is getting a film, which is entirely funded by Kickstarter. The first theatrical trailer is in the link. Very much looking forward to this, the TV series was enjoyable and the film looks like it will be fun.

Yep. I'm a backer. Really excited for this. I was a fan after the series was canceled, but loved it and was disappointed when it was ... "over".

Maybe "big Hollywood" should take notes and deliver what people are willing to fund to see on the big screen.
