Does extended play cause lag on PC?

Sorry about posting another topic but I'm new to PC and I don't want to repeat my PS3 fiasco. Does Skyrim lag more the bigger your save gets on PC like PS3 does? Also, does playing for extended periods cause more lag like PS3 does?

This issue with the save causing lag is caused by savegame bloat, but its not so severe on PC as it is on PS3, btw it can happen on PC too. If you want to minimize the chances of save bloat, i highly recomend you use a mod called Unofficial Skyrim Patch as it fixes a lot of bugs in the game and fixes a lot of bloating, preventig your save to become too big.

Lag caused by extended periods of gameplay on PC, is caused by a weak Power Supply Unit (PSU) or a high temperature of the hardware components. Make sure your PSU is good for your PC and you have extra coolers to keep the temps on a good level and you will have no stability issues.
