this thread is for continue discussion in a previous post about creating a special server reserved to only "pro / high level" players :

I think there are players interested to play only with HL players.
No newbies or ragers calling them cheaters.

-This server should be customised with your own ideas, rules and settings like aliens weapons disabled, no votekick, and others...

-Server should be unranked to make a place a 'pro meeting' without affecting any K/D ratio's players.

-only TDM gamemode or with Objective like CrashSite ?

-server will set to allow squad, so why not scrim clan or mix squad ?
I can limit server to 4vs4 or less and why not limit 8vs8 with own mix squad ?!!
Just for play vs all others good players and compare gameplay and performance.

I'm listening to all your ideas, propositions and if many players interested by a server like this, i will start it in collaboration with another important actor of the Crysis community.

I think its not worth it... Your other servers are good enough.. I think there is no need to make another server because many pros/ high skilled players already left this game or appears rarely.. And the amount of players playing this game from which 90% of them don't even show up in this forum... Think practical dude...

I think it could have some success but it would need some effort to promote it, organising scrims, and tournaments, inviting clans... It's a bit late in the game, but I think it's not too late.

Felip is right. I'm a classic 1 but from time to time i jump too in some maxim or standard. If it is to do something , then can be done with people.
So still active players in game+forum start to promovate this and see what happens.
Also for admins , use mess insert in your servers to promovate it.
I will do my best. Let's see what happens.

What about stop treating everybody "noob" just cause they use a weapon you don't like but allowed by the server rules ?!
If you don't agree with the allowed weapons on a server, so, change server !

And when you say bad things to the admin who spent money and time to offer servers working, don't be surprised to be banned...
I have others things to do than being treated like this just cause i used jaw...

I was providing server/s in crysis2 about a year and half, I never banned player for speech ;D

you caused that I was banned from other FR servers, for what fvcking reason?! than I talked to my friends to unban me...

this is going to be like ddd servers..

More things :

-rent again a server...
-asked youself why you are banned from so many servers
-and stop talking about yours bans here ! That isn't going to help matters.

Why i'm not surprized that "Pro" players don't care to have a server only for them?
Frag... i'm afraid that even if you do such a server will be empty and will result in a waste of resurces unfortunately the real "pro" players are not playing any more this game or if they play they do it very rare and don't get involved anymore like was some time ago I remember when was the IAM guys , fVic , HNT and lol was so many REAL pro players i don't have place to insert all here ... was so many good , nice and respectfull players ...was ...that times are gone now are left too few to be capable to make a diference and the other who call themselfs "pro" are capable only to say "look haw good i am on stealing canddy from kids" ... sad ...

A sugestion ... you can do a server with no rules , no votekick and called "free to raqe server" and like auto server message put only a warning for low players "be aware here you will be raqed" or something like this. I'm quite sure will be more populated like a "only pro server"

May be server could be set with NO VK if rules like no bow, or No Rules but with VK ?!!

Hmmm ... to put rules and disable votekick is of no use , to put votekick will be , again , from low players , "hax hax hax all F fu**ing 1 , kick the hax hax hax !!! " Let it like a all free abuse server where cptalcatraz can raqe who he want at evolution can speack haw he want and turk guys can abuse every loadout they want and where masochist noobs or biginers can came to have what they search (LOL) (bullets , many bullets) ...

For me CVR and Hunter are the worse gamemodes.. The first can't compete with a normal human vs human shooter like CS or BF, and the hunter mode is just hiding with a shield and make use of some glitch in the map. Still there are many ppl playing it :O

Back on topic, a "pro\high level server" is useless because first there are 2-3 "pro\high level" players left and second no one take Crysis 3 seriously, many "pro\high level" players just log in to have some fun crashing randomly ppl and then go back to CS or BF or NS2 or ShootMania.

No rules, no votekick, no ping limit and make it ranked so we can laugh at the pro noobs that rage quit when we destroy them and give them low kdr.. haha.. If people cant play against all loadouts and weapons, and all game modes, then how pro are they really??

Fact: there is no such thing as a good/pro player.. only good hit detection! even a total noob can look like a pro if he/she has good hit detection regardless of ping.

As you have ping limited servers, none of the good players from Asia, Australia or new Zealand can play there.

It comes from player really far in the world from servers location.

Hi ping limiter "may" cause the server to crash a little more frequently. Maybe talk to gman....I think he may have had problems when setting the ping limit to ~300 (which is totally reasonable)....it seems that when a server has to kick to frequently because of the amount of hi pings trying to come in...it may crash.

Although I'm not totally sure.....good luck buddy!

I can confirm the crashes in in some servers but not in all , depends more of the hoster.

Now if you do a free server , let it be FREE , that mins no kind of limits or rules or votekicks , nothing of nothing , who can ok, who don't can leave or stay

i try someting today :

I changed the ''MULTIPLAY'' server into a ''TDM 20mns''

So, FragLimit is 250 and Time Limit is 20mns
Only TDM match...


i see that the ''TDM 15mn server'' is very often full and filled with ''high skilled players'' so i thought that an increased time and limit frag could be interesting for many players who want frag and frag for long time.

This server is on test with these settings :
-all maps
-no autokick for high pings ^^
-only TDM, like this, players who don't want play the objective in the Objective matches should be happy ^^
-squad and name clans allowed
-no bow no rhino no pole ( i saw your feedback for a No rule server, don't worry
-votekick enabled cause forbidden weapon at this moment.


I will don't post post here the connexion's today log for confidentialty for the players connected today on the server, but i saw in one afternoon many ''high skill players'' ! Server is full from many hours now so i think it make interest for many players.


It's just a test to find if this configuration can interest a part of the players (we talk here about ''high level skill players"", the topic we talk about here)
