Playing the Arena questline on the hardest difficulty

Has anyone ever tried this? If so how did it go? I always felt like the Arena was far too easy for such a brilliant questline. I love how every enemy you fight is unique. I would love to have fights that last for 15 minutes. I'm thinking of making a character who uses a sword and shield and is very inexperienced. It could be an extremely rewarding DiD playthrough.

Thoughts?

On normal its possible to beat the entire story line in a single arena session (9am-9pm excluding final match as u have to travel) i imagine on hard it isn't much different. So take it easy, make matches go on longer, maybe heal your opponents. Take some time to eat drink and rest between matches or have your character watch some and pick up some tricks :)

That's some good advice as I had planned on roleplaying with this character. As for the Arena not taking long on the hardest difficulty setting, are you sure? When the difficulty slider is as far to the right as it can go, I think you take 6x as more damage as you normally would, and deal 6x less than what you normally would.
