Okay so I have been getting this problem now that I thought at first was just localized to one game. I used to use the DVI cable for my computer screen until recently with my new graphics card. I then switched out to a new HDMI cable.
So far everything seems fine with everyday PC usage. But then I load up a game like crysis 2 I am greeted by the screen being off center (as in over to the right a bit and down). And it being green lines and fuzzy (sometimes a bit of purple). I can still somewhat make out whats on screen but its still annoying.
I messed with the Advanced Color setting in the drivers for the limited (16-235) dynamic range and the full (0-255) dynamic range, but those did absolutely nothing.
It only seems to affect crysis 2 and Dead space the time I tried to play that game. Other games even newer ones like bioshock infinite have no problems.
If I switch back to my DVI cord it works but I don't want to be switching to a new cable every now and then just to play one game. And yes I tried different HDMI cables same problem. I also got the most up to date drivers for my graphics card. Looked around online couldn't find anyone else with this problem so far.
Anyone know how to fix this? or have had this happen to them? I will put some pics up of what I saw. I had to use a digital camera cause there was no way I could seem to get the pics to save by any other means.
