I bought this game a while ago and it worked fine. it has been a while since i played and not every time i try to go into the campaign, it quits responding. the first time it stopped before i even got to the main menu, then the next few times it stopped at the very end of the loading screen.

does anyone have an idea whats going on?

i can give you (almost) any info needed to solve this problem.

Try cleaning your disc, check for scratches and smudges.
Or restart the current mission
Or restart the whole campaign

i guess i could restart, plus im on my pc, so it is downloaded and i dont need the discs

well, i left the game on the main menu over the night while i went to a Thanksgiving party and guess what? It stopped responding, i didnt even try to start playing

btw, i dont have to worry about minimum requirements, if you want i can give you my specs

try these possible fixes

-Install new graphics card drivers/Ensure your Graphics card drivers are up to date

-Make sure your firewall allows Crysis 3- Type in "allow a program through windows Firewall" and make sure Crysis 3 is checked

-Turn Off all unnecessary programs

If the problem persists, after trying the above fixes, having your system specs would defiantly help, Thanks

msi gtx 660
16gb 1600mhz ram
samsubg 128gb 830ssd / seagate 2tb hdd
windows 7 pro
creative sound blaster titanium hd

will be getting a new XFX R9 290 in the mail next week

still no luck...
